African American Stars share their wedding details. Whether it's an over-the-top, media-frenzied extravaganza or a private, friends-and-family-only ceremony, the wedding of two famous folks is always a cause for celebration — and much media attention!

More so than the wedding of one famous person to an unknown, the wedding of two pop-culture icons becomes an event in itself.


In a strange way, celebrity weddings often reaffirm our sense of romance. Weddings are always romantic, but somehow the nuptials of two larger-than-life people make the romantic aspect seem larger-than-life, as well. Sadly, some of these romantic pairings don't last long — but the wedding itself lives on in our memories as a romantic event.
