But his prices aren't over the top especially for specialty cakes. Maybe they have a payment plan until your wedding day.

I was just gonna say, his prices actually aren't that bad. Not when you have Silvia Weinstock up there in the NY charging a minimum 10.00/slice. She has a website too. This chick ships her cakes to The philipines. If you want her to ship your cake you have to buy a plane ticker for her delivery guy, AND the cake too. The don't put no cakes in cargo
But I heard of cakeman raven, he did a cake for a football player and his wife getting married on Who's Wedding is it anyways? The cake was very nice, but he gave them the scare of their lives because he was late...The wedding was like in Jersey or something. Anyhoo. His stuff is hot. I say do it if you can afford it....Payment plan, whatever, as long as you get what you want!

House, I think that would be so cute! Call him and see if it would work out for you.
Bee, that would be one cake I would not even begin to be able to afford (the plane tickets)! That's crazy.

Re: Re: Cake Man Raven
Some people didn't like it because its not as chocolatey, but I am sure they were white. I know black folks (especially down south) don't like no Chocolate Red Velvet Cake, they want one that is Bright red inside, like his. On the reviews they made comments about adding more chocolate and the like, but it was good. I definitely recommend this guy if you live in that area.

Re: Re: Cake Man Raven
Share some of the costs at your bridal shower. This party isn't just for your closest friends. it is for just about any woman in your family and friend circle or couple up. Ask that it be pot luck if you don't care that they may not bring a wedding gift! lol Your maid of honor or your mother throws this party anyway so ease up on the spending.
