Ladies, FH and I going to have an intimate ceremony but I can't decide on what song to walk in on. Here are my choices:

I Believe In You and Me- Whitney Houston
For You- Kenny Lattimore
I Wanna Be Loved- Eric Benet
Spend My Life With You- Eric Benet and Tamia

I like "You" by Jesse Powell and "With You" Tony Terry, actually those were the two songs I was considering for our first dance!.....great choices!...

All of those choices are wonderful -- I would have a hard time. But if I were to choose one I would choose "Spend My Life With You" Eric Benet & Tamia. Let us know what you actually decide on.

I was just watching "preacher's wife" and was like now that is a nice song to walk in on. I like Whitney! Let us know what you go with.

I love all of them and they all have special meaning. But, my favorites on the list are "I Believe in You and Me", "You", and "You For Me". I guess that narrows down the list to 3 songs now. Whitney seems to be my #1 choice but I'm still not sure.

India.Irie sings a beautiful ballad called "beautiful Surprise" that is an ode to her man....I wish I would have either walked in on that song, or walked in singing that song......Instead, I decided after way too much worrying about it-to have a male soloist sing "Love" by Musiq Soulchild. It tured out beautifully because when he started, i was outside walking in, and the windows were frosted so you can see me enter in shadow, but you can't see me or my dress-something my coordinator thought would "increase the anticipation"...nevertheless it worked.....

Try not to think about it too much...cause there are so many options....Or, turn on the songs, and practice walking slow to them with a trusted male friend (if you want to surprise FH), or with FH...That will help relieve some of the tension....you may find one you like better....When you have to think about it, it tends to cause a headache like it did me...The more I was able to prepare physically (practice walking in my shoes, and dress, practicing hairstyles, make-up, songs, dancing) it made it seem more real than something far-fetched....

Thank you Bumblebee. I've never heard of that song by india.Arie, I'll have to check it out. "Love" by Musiq is a beautiful song. I know there wasn't a dry eye in the church when you walked in on it.
