Re: DIY Aisle Runner
A lot of times they don't roll like they are supposed to and to me in order to have one that is really nice you have to spend a little more money than I want to spend. Many of the inexpensive aisle runners look like how much you paid for them.
I have however heard of people buying plain runners, stenciling the wording onto the runner and then painting the words, I'm not sure what type of products you would need to use though

Wow! Thats a good idea! Maybe djimonsmom can look into this, however I would test the design on that type of aisle runner fabric just in case

I know...one of my church members that got married in Sept. when they went to roll hers out it would not roll and they had to try to pull it out and tore part of it, you could see the frustration on the ushers face and the bride was standing there waiting

Re: DIY Aisle Runner
2bmrspotts you worked that runner! If you have any paint drops how about gluing down a rose petal over them?

Re: DIY Aisle Runner
Very nice! I had opted NOT to have one, but I am REALLY re-thinking it now...maybe not for the isle since we don't have a single one, but maybe I can have it for when people are coming in the church????

Re: DIY Aisle Runner
Thank you.
I definitely plan to drop a few rose petals in those areas.
I dont think it will be very noticeable being that I will have the aisle roped off so that the guest do not walk down the center aisle
