Re: Atownswifey's blog

From what I read you seem like any awesome strong woman. I was a rotten teen as well and I tell you that now as a grown professional woman, I regret how mean I was to my mom. I pray that you and your girls are able to reconcile and that the grandbabies will be at the ceremony. I am so inspired my your ablilty to go on that I think I want to start a blog myself. I hope planning your wedding is a chance to make a fresh start for you.

Re: Atownswifey's blog

Thank you mycenae, it would be nice if they were old enough to be in the wedding, but they will only be six months old when its time for gran love to jump the broom, they may be asleep. Yes, ladies my name is going to be Gran Love, not grannie or grandma. I don't have to except the name part of the duties ladiesSmile

Re: Atownswifey's blog

hopefully they will be asleep instead of signing "A Ribbon in the Sky" in baby. lol. It's also great that you stepped up and took the kid. It is nice when people open their homes to children who would have ended up in foster care. Seems like your FH is really gaining a prize with you.

Hey Atown. Not sure if you drop in from time to time but it's been a while since we heard from you. Hope all is well with your family and that your planning is continuing. Please let us know how you are doing.

Re: Atownswifey's blog

Thanks Pamcrow for being concerned.
I am actually finished with the planning process. I am just waiting for the day. We have just been going through so much with my girls that I didn't have time to think about the wedding. My oldest daughter actually had her baby a few weeks early, so as of october 13th, I am a grandmother. I was in the birthing room with her. I was sad and excited at the same time. Sad because she was in so much pain and excited because she asked me to be in the room with her. Your timing is perfect because my daughter and the baby came home to stay last night. I am happy about that, but other daughter is still bull headed about coming back home. Once I get over this small funk that I am in, I will continue the wedding talk and post everything that I have completed for the wedding. Thanks again

Re: Atownswifey's blog

Thanks for the update Atown. Glad to hear things are starting to work out. So you got yourself a baby Libra. Congratulations. I'm a libra too, born Oct. 12th, yay!! Is baby a boy or girl? I'm sure your other daughter will be home soon also. Just give it a little more time and continue praying.

Thank you all for the congrats. It's girl and her name is Zy'miria Zanae. Don't know where or how she came up with that, but I am going to call her Zeze. I think I am going to have a baby shower for her this saturday since I didn't get to go to the other one

Re: Atownswifey's blog

Such a pretty name. She's gonna hate school though when they have to line up alphabetically.
