Thank you

Re: Alternative name for maids

Thanks sis.

I'm working on the first issue of my Bridesmaids Newsletter and I'm looking for a title for them that isn't standard. Ex. a title like DIVA is overstated. These women are sassy, sexy and voluptuous. Smile

Honor Attendant is best suited for your maids.

I agree with Ginoue, I think Honor Attendant is a very classy name for them

I love that, Princess. I'm trying to work it around Bridesmaid: Ladies of the Bride? smh.

Re: Alternative name for maids

For my wedding, I have 2 special friends that I've added to my bridal party and I called them "Ladies-In-Waiting" and they'll be escorted by 2 "Gents-In-Waiting", my FH's classmates.

Re: Alternative name for maids

Ladies-In-Waiting or Bride's Attendants is nice. I hope no one gets the idea that they're "waiting" to get married though! ;oD LOL!

I know I also didn't want to use the term, "maids" even though it's short for the archaic "maidens."

Re: Alternative name for maids

I too is looking for alternative names for the whole bridal party, because I have a couple of the same such as a jr. bride, a matron of honor, two maid of honors and ten brides maids, so I was trying to find a name that will fit the whole party just because FH will have to have to BM and a jr groom but I don't wont to classify them as that, so do anyone have any suggestions.

Ladies in waiting, hand maidens, or escorts work well.
