I am trying to make my own menu cards.

Re: Menu Cards

I am having a sit down dinner I will see how it will look centered because I do not want to spend a whole lot of money on menu cards especially with me having some free time on my hands.

Re: Menu Cards

Make a template. You have Word? Turn the page layout to landscape. Go under format, choose columns, choose 3 maybe. Select your font/s. Print on card stock, maybe put 2 holes at the top, and incert matching ribbon. 3 cards to a sheet. Done Smile

Re: Menu Cards

Did you ask your venue if they make menu cards? Mine comes at no cost, just needed to tell them the names and date to put on them.

Re: Menu Cards

Yes my venue does provide menu cards but I really wanted them in the color of my wedding and they did not have that color. Thanks though.

Re: Menu Cards

Ladies I have a question to add to this post. I would love to have menu cards at each place setting, however we are doing buffet. Is it etiqutte to have menu cards for a buffet style reception?

Re: Menu Cards

I did. I haven't read anything to say that you shouldn't. I wanted the guests to know what was on the buffet table so they could start salivating. Surprised)

You go DIVA! I'm giving my daughter a dinner before she goes away to college. I will certainly put these instructions to use. Thanks Turiya.

Re: Menu Cards

I am doing menu cards mainly because I will have my guests choose their meat for their main course. And when the waiter askes them what they want they already know the choices.
My cousn got married in February and she did buffet but she did not do menu cards.

So I really think it is all about personal preference and not necessity. So if you want to buy some cardstock in your color (I bought mine from paperandmore.com), make you own template and print them out yourself.
