DIY Guest Books
Is anyone making their Guest Books? I'm thinking about creating a digital photo guest book or either a polaroid guest book.
Any suggestions?

I think a digital photo guestbook is a wonderful idea. I think you can google it and find instructions. If you do please share.

Yeah we'd love to see that! Sounds beautiful...We actually did do a frame signing at the reception too, but I love reading the messages from the wedding in the guestbook!

This is the place where I got mine from. But is another place that actually has some real weddings that show people signing the mat. You could probably do a google search.

Wished I thought about doing a frame instead of book. I purchased a Lenox guest book that matched our toasting flutes and cake server. We had over a 150 guests but less than 50 signed the guest book. What did people think the book was there for????

I've seen that happen countless times. Don't get me wrong I'm not against traditional guestbooks- but that was one of the reasons I didn't want one. I think the mat serves as a conversation piece because it's different and encourage people to flock over and sign the h*ll out of it...lol

I purchased the largest one they had (20X24)with less than 50 guests. When it arrived, I thought that it was huge and maybe I should have gone with the medium size. Wrong! Every inch of that baby was signed with signatures and messages for us. We displayed it on the beautiful easel that they sell after it was signed. Loved it! It's sooo classy looking and looks gorgeous on the wall. I purchased ours from idoengravables.com and received a 5.5% discount with a code they had on their site.

Assign someone to gather guest signatures for your guest book or any other alternative guest book. Senior members are the best for this because they are patient and who could brush off sweet Auntie Matilde?
