Can I take my 2 kids on honeymoon?

Hey guys ...this is the situation. I have 2 small kids from a previous marriage and I have no one to keep them when I am away and to be honest with you because of this, I have not done any travelling in the past 4 years. I know it may sound unheard of but I was thinking maybe we can do a cruise cause I think they have someone on board that keeps kids. Please let me know what you think and any suggestions you may have. Thank you
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Disney Cruises ; From what I hear it like their not even there with you because they have an agenda setup to keep them busy.

I loved Disney Cruises . I went BEFORE I had my daughter, but the kids are busy busy busy all day! You can be alone with your spouse and enjoy yopur honeymoon without worrying about the kids. I am an avid Carnival Cruiser!. My infant daughter is very comfortable. She is going on her 2nd Carnival cruise in October and she isn't even 2 yet! lol.

I don't have any children, but my travel agent is always raving about the Disney Cruises . I think that would be a good choice. Plus, I hear the adults have lots of fun too.

If anyone else is having this problem, I am going to the Beaches Resort for the same reason. It is an all inclusive resort geared toward families. They have an XBox game center, Sesame Street Characters and other activities that I think my kids (and the guests kids) will enjoy. Everyone I have spoken to, including my travel agent, says it's a great place.

I think thats a great idea to take your children with you. I would have never thought to bring mine, but resorts and hotels are so accomodating, its not hard to find a place that will keep your kids for a while so you and your new hubby can have some alone time.

Agreed. We all know we need sometime ALONE with the HUBBY. (The Beaches Resorts have Kids Camps during the day.)

Child when I started thinking about Honeymoon trust me kids was not included in my plans. I love my children to death, However my honeymoon will be exclusive. We go on family trips every year, so that is there little vacation. I am planing on being grown and sexy.

Well gone 'head Ms. Grownandsexy!
I do admit, if you are willing to accomadate and have your kids on the honeymoon (or can't find anyone to keep them), thats great! But best believe when we renew our vows and go on a second honeymoon, I am calling up moms, mother-in-laws and whoever can spare the patience to keep my children/angels so we can do our grown-up thing!

Re: Can I take my 2 kids on honeymoon?

The only reason that I do not want to take my children is because we are always taking them where ever we go, and we haven't been any place alone since the kids where born.

Wifey, The reason I don't want to take my children is because Darn it, it is my HONEYMOON!! Where in that word do you see kids?? We have 7 children. Ages are from 19-13 then the the 2 year old. He goes everywhere with us . Even still sleeps in my bed. I want to get my Grown, Sexy, Freaky, Nasty teenage thing on with PRIVACY. We have not had that since the little boy was born. As a matter of fact, last time we had privacy, we got the little boy (lol) so NOOOO KIDS.

Haaaaaaaaaa too funny! I hear ya Askalot. My daughter is 16 and she runs that Moooooooooooooommy line also. I guess it doesn't stop -- she thinks that she is supposed to go everywhere with her father and I too. She was mad that we didn't take her on the honeymoon. She also gets very uncomfortable when we show affection to one another. Go figure!

Yes DW I remember, I used to think my parents were "gross" for kissing and touching and all that other stuff. I was "mad" at my mother when she told us (three older siblings) that she was pregnant. My sister said ewwww -- you guys still have sex! I used to tell them how much they embarrassed me. LOL!!!! How soon we forget. --LOL!!

LOL!! I can imagine your daughter's face when you and your husband touch each other. It is still honeymoon time for you so she probably sleeps with a pillow over her head!!!

Re: Can I take my 2 kids on honeymoon?

When we picked her up from my mom's after the honey moon, she said, can you guys not do anything. I know you are married, but wait until I'm not home! We looked at her a cracked up laughing -- of course she did not crack a smile.
