DVD Discoveries

I thought I would start this topic to ask if anyone discovered anything on their wedding DVD that they weren't aware of before watching. We discovered the following on ours:

1. The videographer and editor did a great job. I've never viewed anyone's DVD before, but my cousin who's been married twice remarked this past weekend that it was one of best she'd seen, unbelievably clear, great music, and transferring between shots.

2. A family member walked behind the gazebo with her baby TWICE during our vows and is clearly seen (until she must have been told to sit her butt down), although there was plenty of room on either side of the gazebo as well as behind the chairs. What was she thinking???!!!

3. I didn't know the videographer had time to go around the reception room asking for recorded messages from the guests. We were surprised and happy to see that.

4. I didn't recall that the videographer was there to capture my grandmother singing a hymn to us during the reception. It was priceless, and we'll always treasure it.

5. I giggle A LOT! SurprisedD

Re: DVD Discoveries

From watching my wedding video I discovered that one of my cousins blessed the food at the reception. I was happy to see that especially since her three sisters sung at my wedding and she's the only one who can't sing but she was still able to participate in my day.

I also discovered my very own brother must have really started to feeling the effects of the alcohol he had while in the limo because during my first dance song you can hear him loudly singing the chorus part of the song and you can see guests turn their heads in his direction.

One of Dh's aunts who is a little "touched" is on my video saying "I want to congratulate Tony & Shonda on their wedding day". Now Shonda is my Godsister and happens to be married to my brother-in-law. This same aunt can also be heard in the video yelling "now everybody scream" during the electric slide.
"I'm a work in progress, God is not through me yet"

Re: DVD Discoveries

when looking at our video:

1. when me & DH were announced and he start dancing up and down the isle you can see our Pastor looking at him like "who is that?!?!?!" and laughing!! DH is so quite and reserved so our Pastor was pretty suprised!!

2. also when they announced our Pastor the camera was trying to find him and he's shouting here I am over here!

3. Our wedding party was announced off of Whodini's Friends and you can hear our youth minister saying-what what---that's my jam!!! go, go, go, go (but he is a clown anyway)

Re: DVD Discoveries

I realized that I was right, my family is crazy.

You cannot see her, but you can certainly hear my grandmother in the background saying "Go Dykibra, Go Dykibra!" while we were doing our first dance....it was to Lost Without You so it wasn't slow....But why why why was my Grandma chanting....The world----will never know!

My DH was eager to watch it cause he seemed to be interested to see if some of his relatives were talking trash about out the seating arrangement (which they weren't) cause something came up at the reception...but that was quickly resolved by the WC.
We've been Happily Married 2 Years and Counting:)

Grandparents are too funny! You never know what they're going to do or say. I love them!

Soon, your pastor sounds like a lot of fun!
I check out my video every now and then whenever I go to my mother's house. I always cringe whenever I catch my uninvited cousin pulling my cousin (one of the groomsmen) out of the line to walk her to her seat.  It was a good thing that I didn't see that in person.
I also discovered that I need braces. LOL
