For those of you that know, we're having a blessing in St Lucia in about 3 weeks time. I know I only got married in February, but I just want to celebrate with our family "back home" that couldn't make it for the wedding (I know, I 'm greedy having 2 "weddings")!
I know I promised to start a blog for the blessing, but I have some news that I am dying to share with someone!!! I can't tell anyone in my family or DH yet, because I want to be sure first. Somehow, it just feels safer telling you guys!
I've not been feeling too well for a couple of days, and something told me to take a pregnancy test this morning. I was delighted when I saw it was POSITIVE!!!  I took another one this evening, and again it was POSITIVE!! I'm really happy, but I don't want to tell anyone until I'm sure.
I've been dying to tell my husband, but he's come home with his friend and I want to tell him in private first!! I'm so excited, I think I'm going to burst!!! Let's hope everything is ok when I go to the doctor's........
So, sorry girls, I was going to start the blog tonight, but I'm too excited! I will start over the weekend...PROMISE!!!

You guys wasted no time at all. LOL Congratulations on your pregnancy! I love the idea of just calling him "Dad" out of the blue.
As for the blessing ceremony at home, give us details. It must be nice to call a beautiful country like St. Lucia home.

I'm so very happy for you and your husband.  Wow, what a great gift.  I know he will be very happy, but wait, won't you start showing?  Oh no, you're a skinny mini, it won't show much at your St. Lucia's Blessing.  Thanks for sharing such marvelous news with your Vibride sisters.  We're gonna be aunts ya'll!!!  Woohoo!!!

Thanks for the messages ladies - I'm still too excited about the pregnancy to do my blog for the blessing, but I will next week......PROMISE!
Told DH - he was very happy!!! I told him I had a surprise for him and gave him the pregnancy test to look at! He has been really sweet over the last few days, getting my vitamins and making sure I rest properly, even during these very early stages. I hope to get a doctor's appointment this week to confirm everything, so I'll keep you guys posted.
Ginoue - I am already showing! I already feel like my belly is so big, but I'm told that's just bloating and the body getting ready for the baby.
I'm going to be a MOMMY!!
