These pics totally makes me re-think how shabby and tacky I thought courthouse weddings are. Maybe it's the photographer, but they look great. Loving and happy and relaxed. Go figure.
Ditto on homegiurl's shoes! But then again her dress kicks ass too! VERY stylish.

Yes those are beautiful pics. We married at he courthouse and I am doing my best to have our religious ceremony on the same calendar date so that we will have the same anniversary. It will have to be NEXT YEAR or bust! lol

Courthouse weddings does get a bad rep, but if you don't have the resources or the patience to cater to all of your wedding guests needs, I say go for it!  
I went on Youtube and saw some sincere and romantic courthouse ceremonies, then I saw some that looked like nothing more than someone fighting a traffic ticket at first glance. It really helps to dress the part.

@michele: How beautiful you are getting the religious aspect to your marriage. It seems silly in the 21st century, but it still touches me when I think about my church wedding !or anyone elses). Can't wait to go over the details with you.
@Butter: I agree with dressing the part. Even a courthouse wedding calls for glamour. At this point would it hurt to get a really nice dress and have the guy wear a suit? Get pearls, short veil or hair flowers. Also consider wearing your favorite shoes asthe something old.

I'm really into these shoes. they would look good with any style dress or length suit.
