Hubby and I had a nice chat about our future this past Valentine's Day. For one thing, we plan on starting a family within the next two years (which explains my new "conceptionmoon" ticker).
 
 
I bet him that our firstborn will certainly be a girl based on a theory I hold close to my heart. It goes like this:
 
 
If a man has more brothers than sisters, his firstborn will most likely be a girl. Otherwise, he will have a son. 
 
We both have large families with large "branches" and this has been true with every man on both sides. 
 
What do you guys think and does this theory holds true with the men in your life?

It's so exciting that you guys are planing a family. My husband's dad had a family of boys one girl, his brothers only had girls, but he had two sons, a boy first. My husband is one of his tow sons. Both boys had a daughter first! There may be truth in what you sayin' girl.

My dad was the only boy and he got all girls. His sister got all girls too. I don't know if that theory works.

Well Mistee, we will see. I'll be happy with whatever I have, its just there are sooooooo many girls in my family that it would be great to have a little knuclehead for once. LOL
Then again. Boys = stuntmen = hospital bills.

But you won't go broke dressing boys!
