Re: Keeping Our Marraiges Strong

Spontaneity, keep it fresh and exciting. For the sake of all the is holy please sistas...please lets try avoid curlers some nights and those nasty face cremes Smile. If you gatta wear short pants and a shirt to bed...wear nothing, even if your mad with him....that'll teach him a lesson. I know we are in the era of independance but every now and then, let him think he has won that round....remember when they think about something, we've already thought about that several days ago!...come on, we're women! DAH! Let him lead, nothing is worst than crushing a man's ego. Ya'll hear me, this advice coming from a divorcee [lol] but fa real ladies there is no "me" in a marriage. If you and your partner are on the same wave length, I can not see any bottle-necks. Blessings.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Re: Keeping Our Marraiges Strong

Thanks Charlotte for keeping it real. This is my first marraige and I want it to last. In my family there are not too many role models who have with stood the test of time. I know that he and I will make it as long as we keep God first.

Re: Keeping Our Marraiges Strong

I'm not married yet, but I got this advice from a wise woman. Only only talk to people that have what you want or realize why they don't have it. To me, that means to talk to a woman that has had the fifty year marriage and experienced its joys and pains. Or talk to a woman that has grown enough to realize her part in the break up of her marriage. That honest reflection may help many a bride to be. That makes sense to me!
