Romantic way to get him to do chores

My husband sometimes needs to be reminded to do some of the chores, like take out the garbage. He doesn't mind, he just forgets! I weird reminding him because i don't want to come accross like a nag. So I had this idea...

I added my husband's name and chores to a special chore chart! He is now anxious for chores to complete because we have a slightly different reward system. Stickers add up to romantic treats! Sometimes it's a foot rub or a scalp massage... but usually he'll save them for something more. Smile It's a selfish "You earned it!" reward... but it always becomes a special treat for both of us. We have to use the tools God gave us to get things done sometimes. LOL. What ideas do you have to make doing chores more romantic?

Man Rosey you are something else...I really can not compete with any suggestion you make because you are so talented and creative. I remember back when I wanted hsband to do chores and he didn't I got angry and did them myself and just stopped asking...I remember I used to say "FINE!" and he knew exactly that meant...but I am loving your ideas and will definitely be incorporating them in my next marriage...they are fabulous.

Men need incentives! lol. Also it is a reward that benefits us too. It makes them know that we love them especially when they do as we say! lol

Re: Romantic way to get him to do chores

Reminding my FH to do chores is never a problem. I have nicknamed my FH Felix Unger (From the Odd Couple). I have to ask him to relax, he is almost excessive about cleaning and it drives me crazy sometimes. I guess I shouldn't complain, because I could be living with Oscar, and then I would really be crazy (LOL)!

to get my husband to do chores around the house and office, we makes deals. if he does the chore on time then ill treat us to dinner and a movies for the whole week. and if he doesnt do it then he has to cook the whole week, and make everything in the office half price or by-1-get 1 kinda things. or somethings we will just flip a quater and the winner doesnt have to clean the day or week

I tell you, the ViBride sistahood is certainly creative (and I'm sure your husbands and FHs are quite happy - smile)
