Black Girl Wedding Cakes

We are all about the the bling. All about the style and swag of it all. So why would we have plain ole buttercream wimpy cakes? My cake guru is Margaret Braun. Her cakes are so stylish, so ornate. Like a beautiful cathedral or African fabric. Her caes are simply works of art.

I love red and purple together! I would never have even DREMED of putting it on a wedding cake. The colors work well and it is a cake everyone will remember.

This one would be be great for a circus theme, Mardi Gras or even a baby shower. I just love the whimsy and the ostrich feather cake topper.

When Carmen Electra and musician Dave Navarro
got married, they got a four-tiered cake with layers of Oreo cheesecake, chocolate
cake and strawberry shortcake. What made it a to die for black girl cake? It was bedecked with Swarovski crystal drops  to match the crystals
on her Badgley Mishka wedding gown. Nice touch!an image
