Re: COLORS

You are over thinking your theme. You don't want brown and ivory centerpieces. You want to ACCENT your reception site with those colors. i.e. Ivory roses and peonies with maybe brown chiffon or satin ribbon bows tied around the vase.

I would think about brown shimmer table cloths if you can find them, but incorporate a third color if you like, bronze, green, tangerine or rvrn gold. Invitation option:Chocolate invite
Add the perfect finishing touch with beautiful Bridal Jewelry.

Re: COLORS

DiD you think of a third color? Here is chocolate brown, champagne and green:

I like the casual look of the placesettings and the way the warm green makes it seem cosy. The pillar candles are wrapped with raffia, but here you can put shimmer ribbon in bronze, brown or even gold!

Re: COLORS: Chocolate & Champagne

This is 2006 before 2008 you'll change them again. Not trying to dissuade you, but these vendors are just making up new colors every season. Chocolate and Champagne would be nice.

Re: COLORS: Chocolate & Champagne

I'm sitting here thinking the very same thing and thought to myself when I read this post...."didn't she have another color just the other day?"...honey like Niquey says you are going to go crazy by 08- calm down - baby steps...you have a basic color in your mind - leave that there for now and concentrate on that wedding you are "planning" for the other lady that you mentioned. Girl you gat till time and memorial and guess what - by then, the vendors would have probably come up with a new color that you would most likely love and probably change to.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Re: COLORS: Chocolate & Champagne

hey happly,
You can also do florescent or iridescent those colors will bring out any of the solid colors you already have. my colors a plum and mocha and I white gift bags with plum writing (my name and the groom's) on them. I will be placing all the bags in front of the chairs with the iridescent gift paper in them! Mean while I will also have a mirror in the center with plum colored candles as well as mocha rosa pettles on the mirror! the light from the candle will capture the plum and the iridescent paper and make it blend in. Just a thought!
not stressed anymore! Thanks to my Vibrides!! Smile

Re: COLORS: Chocolate & Champagne

Hey there Happy, Chocolate Champagne and Gold are really nice colors. I think the picture shown in Rosie's post gives great ideas on how you can incorporate the green and ivory. I think it would be beautiful. I would also check out the wedding magazines, you may be able to get some more ideas from there.

Rhonda is right. My colors are and will remain Chocolate, champange, & Gold, unless they change by 2008, and maybe i will incorporate the green and ivory to help decorate my Ceremony, Recepiton Hall.
