Re:My Cake

I finally think I got  it.  Enjoy the  pics hope u like them. This is 100% Rum Cake/Black Cake custom made for a November 08 Wedding. I've been baking RumCake  since I was 9 years old with a recipe my mum left me. By 16 I was decorating and haven't stopped since.

My cake

So, I was looking at my venue's website the other day, and I discovered that they have posted some photos of our reception set-up. That wasn't so bad, even though that was something they told me flatly that they don't do, and we had to do ourselves, but then I also discovered two photos of our wedding cake on their site as one of their custom wedding cakes.  This was a cake that a local baker made and I personally decorated. I couldn't believe it.  It's now extremely clear to me how people in this industry fool people. When a couple goes to the site, they're going to think the venue can make a cake like that for them.

Yes, I think it is. I think the director would remove them if I ask. Afterall, we purchased the photo CD, so I do believe we own the images and the rights to the images, but who knows? I know we didn't sign any photo releases.

Re:Re:Re:My cake

I would contact the Director anyway and ask them for an explanation anyway because if you didn't sign a release, they can't use them.  But then again, it's in the carribeans, maybe things are a bit different there.
