I am having a raffle for gift baskets at my reception and yes their will be men gifts as well. I am the party person in my family and they know that I do not have a party without giving away something. I also played a game called "Do you know your wife..
I would line up the men and then the women would line up across from them. The men would take the woman whomever was in front of them and feel their hand. The husband would then say Yes or No if this was his wife. Imagine how funny it is when they are wrong...It was alot of fun. I played it for my fathers birthday party. I am open to reception ideas though...

A fun idea is to have all married couples join on the dance floor for a dance. Little by little the dj will ask couples to stay on the dance floor if they have been married for more than one year, five years, then ten years and then fifteen etc..... The last couple standing gets the bouquet. It's a nice photo opp. Too. At the last wedding I went to the winning couple, the aunt and uncle, had been married over 50 years. It's a beautiful tribute.

That's also a nice way to show appreciation to the seasoned vets who held it together through the years.

Hey guys, loved all the ideas.....honey404 thanks for that website, Rosetta love that idea also. You know when the couple goes to take pictures is the worst time of all cause you just sit there and wait, several weddings I went to did not even serve refreshments and I really do not want that to be the case at my wedding. I love the ideas very much. Thanks

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Rosetta, I think some folks call it the anniversary dance and that is such a good idea. I am doing this during my reception also. I will have a little gift for the last standing couple. This will be such a blessing to see!!

Rosey I have seen this done as well and intend on having this done at my wedding reception.
