I love the theme song from Titanic, I'll always love you, a one and a million [timeless classic], at last,...there are some nice ones being advertised on cable these days...you should take note. Because your parents are divorce does not mean there can not be a father daughter dance...unless he has not played a significant role in ur life, if that is the case, dance with your mom, especially if she was mom and dad, or step dad, if there is one and you have that close relationship with him.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
I used CD's for my favor and the favor of a good friend of mine. Here are some thoughts for a wedding favor:
Teach Me How To Love
When We Get Married
Ribon In the Sky
Inseprerable (Natalie Cole - also Everlasting Love)
You are My Fried (Kenny and Co. made a fast version)
Just Us (also fast by Two Tons of Fun)
Golden Time of Day (Frankie Beverly and Maze)
Love and Happiness
More Than A Woman ( Angie Stone)
Adore (Prince)
At Last (Etta James)
Since my dad and grand father passed last year and my husband's parents were both deceased, We had a brother sister dance. I danced with my brother and he danced with his sister. We did that at the same time to a fast song. I have cried enough over the past year. It was beautiful, especially since all of my male cousins and uncles came up and danced with me in the absence of my dad and grandfather (whom I truly adored).
let me know if you need anyother creative ideas. I am full of them.
I am also giving cds as a favor at my wedding next week. We used songs that described how we felt about each other. The very first song on the cd is Thanks for my child because I have a son who was 4 when I met my fiance. And the last song is an interlude from one of Mary j cds (Thank you Lord). You can also use songs that tell the story of your relationship. I hope this helps. Good Luck.
