Celebrating the Season

Hey ladies,

I've been married nearly 3 months now and I get the honor of cooking Christmas dinner for my in-laws...fun times!! Its been a while since I logged on, life is dealing me some pretty heavy blows right now and I'm grateful for a supportive husband who is my sunshine through it all. My strife however, is not the reason for this post, I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday season, 2005 has been one heck of a year and I think we should all celebrate making it to see another Christmas. As we navigate through the crowded malls and/or streets trying to get last minute stuff taken care of, or those who are travelling, may we all be patient and kind with others and treat them as we would like to be treated. May all our lives be filled with peace, hope and lots of love as we usher in a new year. Let our spirits join hands in collective thanks for what we have and don't have, and who we have and don't have. And most important of all, I pray we all love the special people in our lives a little harder and hold onto them a little tighter for tomorrow is not promised.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

All the best.

Re: Celebrating the Season

Admittedly this is a lil late, for some reason I didn't see the rest of this thread. Just wanted to thank Charlotte and Rosetta for your kind words. Perhaps I was meant to receive these sentiments when I did...who am I to try and understand God's divine plan.
