We all fear that something will go wrong on our wedding day. What are main things that you fear? I'll start. (I can't lie, I have alot!)
1. Falling as I walk down the aisle
2. One of my vendors not showing up
3. The reception hall not being ready BEFORE guests arrive (My hall has another function that is supposed to end at 4pm, and mines is to begin at 6pm, uuuggghhh)
4. Spilling something on my dress
5. Guests not having a good time
6. Being very sleepy on my wedding day (I have a sleeping disorder. I don't fall asleep at inappropriate times, but I am fighting sleep all day long.)
And last but not least.......
7. Mother Nature making her monthly visit on my wedding night. (I can't pinpoint this one because my cycles have been changing lately, so by August, I don't know what the schedule will be.)

How much time do you have to decorate? Can you get in the night before?
Unfortunately, my people can't even begin decorating until 4pm. This has cost me more money as well because instead of family pitching in to help decorate, I have to pay professionals to do it so it can be done in a timely manner. The reception doesn't start until 6, but I know there will be some early birds.
I told the manager at the hall that we will definately have a problem if those other people are not out of that room by 4pm!!

My biggest fear is that FH won't show up (not really), but FH and I have a private joke between us. He is always teasing me saying that I am always late for everything. He teases me every now and then that if I'm late for the wedding he won't be there when I get there. My family teases me too, because they know that FH is a stickler for time. In the 20 years that I've known him, he's only be late once.

I don't know how I forgot that one. I am late for EVERYTHING. My sleeping disorder has alot to do with it though. My friends and family keep stressing to me how important it is to have this ceremony start on time, and how they will do anything in their power to make sure I am not late.

My fears are: tripping on the aisle runner (might take that out all together), seeing the hall or garden decorated INCORRECTLY, ripping or messing up my dress somehow, having one of the vendors not show up and last but definitely not least: hurricane! Whether a hurricane comes (after season like last year), knocks out power, or damages the museum. Anything hurricane related causes me to hyperventilate.

I don't think anyone on this board can be as bad as me when it comes to lateness. No matter how far in advance I get ready for something, I'm ALWAYS late. I was even late for my baby shower (I felt sooooo bad too). I've been having these re-occuring dreams that I changed my mind at the last minute (venue) and everyone was at the first venue (but that's not happening - right Charly?) lol
1) Daughter will mess up her dress
2) I will get jitters (cold feet)
3) Someone in the bridal not looking up to par (in which they will be seated with the other guests) lol
All I can think of for now, but I will add on. lol
I have so many fears. One is the flower girls or ring bearer tripping on one of the bricks we will walk on. But my biggest fear is the weather not cooperating. My wedding is in the backyard of an historic house museum and it is not an indoor facility. I won't know how the weather will be until 5-10 days before the wedding. Our backup is having the ceremony at his church. I am just looking forward to having an outdoor wedding. HELP!!!!!

Just pray about and since you have an alternate plan you will be fine! My biggest fear is too many people showing up at the reception that didn't RSVP and my parents having to pay extra.

My BIGGEST fear is that we will all be snowed in and can't make it to our destination or that we will be stuck there!!!

One of the BM hair looking a mess (at least their makeup will be right because I'm paying for it)

The AC goes out at the reception hall or church
My FH mother is late (this is a real possibility. She's rarely on time for anything.)
My biggest fair is running out of food, so to calm my nerves I am catering for 225 person ,there is no way I will have that many persons but just so I can sleep comfortably the weeks leading to the day I have done this.People have a tendency to just show up at weddings uninvited.
That is so true! I was thinking of having a few extra plates available for these people as well.I really dont want over 150 guess (which is 50 more than my original plan) but I will accepte 175 hoping no extras will come.I will have those who chose to RSVP fed and seated first all others must wait. Is just the proper thing to do to RSVP,if you cant do that for me then I dont havre to go out my way to accommidate you.
Anyways my fear is having my "friend" pop up as I walk down the aisle and I have a little more red inmy dress than I paid for. Also being late due to car trouble. The place not being decorated correctly and lookin "bootleg". That I will faint at the alter or my legs will give way half way down the aisle.Or that I will start studdering or cant speak when I'm supposed to.
A while ago (when I was 13) I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis which is a muscle weakness disease that has alot to do with the nerves.I could barely talk above a slight whisper, I always had to write notes or I'd start studdering.I couldnt chew or drink properly, couldnt hold a cup of water or open a door.I even fell down stairs alot for no reason, my legs would just buck under me and I'm going down (this also happened recently as I was crossing the street).So you can see why I am nervous about these things.I havent had alot of the symptoms after having open heart surgery to remove my Thymus Gland butthere is no guarentee its totally gone.
My biggest fear is that it rains on my wedding day. I am having an outside wedding and this is all I can think about.

My other biggest fears are: Wedding Crashers (No Stalkers/ex's, Scorned Ex-Friends), Having my monthly show up, Falling/Tripping. The worst: Having my FH not be @ the end of the alter.

1) People being at my wedding who are messy and are talking about me loud enough for me to hear. - This is why I want my wedding to be family only. I'd rather family than anyone else to uppercut me
2) For me to look horrible on my wedding day. I have struggled with acne forever and I finally got my face clear. I'd hate for it to all come back before the wedding.
3) People think the food is nasty and that they didn't enjoy themselves.

I must say I've asked about 5 different brides and they have said that their monthly did come.I fair mind will definitely come as it usually does when I am under stress.So have some tampons in your emergency bag.lol
