Hey Ladies,
I don't want to do the typical first dance at the reception. Actually, I want to the fast dance (the fast dance that most people in their 50's do at parties.) What do you ladies think about that? Is it a stupid idea? Neither FH or I know how to really fast dance, so we are going to have someone teach us. I think the guests will crack up laughing.
Also, what's a good song? I know alot of people fast dance to Luther Vandross, "Bad Boy/Having a Party". I'm dying to hear what you ladies think.

Hey B2B, I think it is a good idea. Create your own tradition. After all it is your day, do it your way. I'm sure you will have a ball and your guest will have a great time too! Now as far as a song is concerned, what kind of music do you and FH like?

We listen to R & B, mostly old school. That's why I suggested Luther. There aren't too many new songs/artists that we like, and especially to fast dance to.

Hi Bride2be805, You all are right up my alley. I would like to do something different like that but FH dosen't want to. We're going to dance to Tony Terry-With You. We need to practice. He can't dance slow. I think what you're going to do is cool. I like making people laugh and yall will get your guest wanting to dance all night. Everybody needs to loosen up and yall will definitely loosen them up.
I can't just see us dancing slow only so I'm going to choreograph my hand/arm movements to the songs and teach him some little moves.
What you come up with will be fine.
