This is the song my husband and I are using for our renewal of vows ceremony:
Someone To Watch Over Me
There's a somebody I'm longin' to see
I hope that he, turns out to be
Someone who'll watch over me
I'm a little lamb who's lost in the wood
I know I could, always be good
To one who'll watch over me
He may not be the man some
Girls think of as handsome
To my heart he carries the key
Won't you tell him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh, how I need
Someone to watch over me
[bridge]
Won't you tell him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh, how I need
Someone to watch over me
Someone to watch over me
Someone to watch over me

THat's what I want to know too!!!!
Hi AlwaysABride! Good idea to use that song, bad idea to use this forum to advertise your website!
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
Hi ladies -- not try to advertise!!!! My bridal site is just an info site; I am not a wedding planner, but an Army wife who is renewing vows with her husband in 2008.
My website is not business; it's my bridal blog where I am sharing tips with others as I plan my own ceremony. I have been a web designer since 1996.
I didn't really see an intro thread, or I would have intro'ed myself.
Have a great day!

Congratulations AlwaysABride. How long have you and hubby been married?

Here is how I added the pic of my husband and myself as my avatar:
This forum does not have an upoload from your computer function, but it does offer an option to link to an picture from another website.
If you have pics stored on another website (i.e., Yahoo! Flickr, Fotki, etc.), then just right-click on the picture you want to choose, and select the copy image location option. Then put that link in the space provided in the "link to an off-site picture" option in editing your profile.
If you still have some problems, or you don't have a place where you can put your photo, just contact me, and I can help.
Have a great day!

I have been blessed to be married to my best friend and love of my life a little over five years now. We were married in Vegas by the JoP March 20, 2001 -- then he left for Army basic training two days later.
We now are planning to have the wedding we never had a chance to celebrate, and I joined this forum to get the chance to know other sistah brides.
Have a great day!

If you want I can crop it for you and send it back to you -- this pic was a digitalcam pic, so you know it was HUGE -- I had the crop the you-know-what out of it
Have a great day!

Are you having a sololist,or, are you using Ella Fitzgerald's version?
Living my life like it's GOLDEN!!
Thank you for your clarification Always. Welcome to the site.
I would love to have a soloist...but more than likely, we will just use a record or band.
Thanks everyone for the welcomes and glad the confusion is over :)
Have a great day!
Serenity
Band or Record, you can't go wrong using that classic!

Now you know that is right charlotte -- I wish I could get that Paris Bennet from American Idol to come to my wedding and tear that mess up! Or her grandmother -- Ann Nesby, lead singer from Sounds of Blackness!!!
Have a great day!
Serenity
I didn't know that was her grandmother!!!! You learn something new every day.
Wow I didn't know that. I love Ann Nesby. Little Paris is going to by very far. She's very talented and has a great personality.

Girl I will admit I am not an American Idol fan, but if this person is in the competition she must be able to sing and sing up a storm...I would really try and get her....sorry not familiar with Sounds of Blackness....girl I am in a world of my own (by choice of course)
