I really need to vent.It's not wedding related but here goes.Today,I went with my FH to pick up some guys for my FBIL's construction company.My FH decided to stay at the jobsite and help out.Then, he asks me to ride with his brother to another jobsite to pick up building materials.Anyway,while at the site,I asked FBIL can I see one of the completed houses.While he's unlocks the home,guess who pulls up??His wife,the SIL that I don't get along with.I spoke to her and she didn't say anything.Oh well.I go in the house to look around and as I'm coming out, she's coming my direction.She's yelling,cursing,and asking what am I doing riding around with her hubby?She then accuses me of trying to sleep with him.I told her that I don't want her hubby and I'm marrying his baby brother soon.I tried not to let her get to me but after the 30th time of being called b****,I got mad and we started arguing.She then knocks my baseball cap off my head!I started to hit her but I caught myself.She then antagonizes me by saying "Hit me,b****.I want you to hit me".I'm so tired of the drama,I'm considering moving away.I know this is a long post but I need to vent...

Platinum gyrl I know that took alot not to hit her but you dont need to be antagonized to do it either. Its better you than me because right now that sistah would still be pulling twigs and grass out her head. I think your BIL should have said something about the situation. Its not right for her to approach you that way, thats very rude! What did your FH say about the situation? I dont think you should move away because of her stupidity. I knw some people are hard to deal with but if you are happy where you are then I say stay and make her suffer. Dont let no one drive you away from your home, she aint even worth it. Please let us know how FH took the whole thing and if the situation gets worse let me know where to meet you I can open a can of whip azz and return home on the very next flight.

FBIL tried to ignore her and told me not to argue with her.But,now he's thinking about filing for divorce.He says that he's tired of her drama and insecurities.FH was very angry when I called him.He told me that I should have whipped her a**.

Whoa, Plat! Talk about a no win situation! I don't even think it is worth worrying over. Even her hubby is through with the theartrics. If you are marrying his brother, why would she assume somthing shady was up?
I have the nastiest sil, so I know it can be hard not to haul off and nail a BEE sometimes. You are so great at keeping your cool. Just a few more months til you are married and a few more til she is out of your life PERMENTLY if her hubby actually files for divorce. maybe she is sick and has hormonal imbalances that can be adjusted through meds??? lol maybe you should suggest that to her hubby. 'Cause she sounds certifiable to me!

OMG, this woman is almost a half century in age and still doesn't get it! That is sooooooo sad. I must say, I totally admire the fact that you kept a cool head and didn't allow her to take you there. Thank you,Rony and Askalot.I haven't seen her since that day.However, I had breakfast with my FMIL this morning and she asked me why didn't I tell her about this incident.I told her that I felt that it was inappropiate to aggravate her with this drama at the time that it happened.(My FMIL's sister passed away last week).Anyway,MIL is a Christian woman but she told me that I should have knocked SIL out.Wow.I love my MIL!
