Hi Ladies,
I'm thinking about having a combination bachelorette party/bridal shower. Since my schedule is so tight the month prior to my wedding. I wanted to have the bridal shower in the afternoon and then the bachelorette party that night. I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. Is anyone else planning to have strippers?

I have no idea since I will not be planning my showers. Is that up to the Matron of Honor/Maid of Honor? If so, send Bossie (nlbostic) a note and then let me know what she said. lol
i think it sounds cool. you can have a bridal shower brunch and then have a bachelorette party in the evening. Sounds good to me friend!

Too funny! My MOHs are planning my parties. Don't have a clue, but knowing them there will definitely be strippers. Not sure though.

Both of my parties were the same day. My shower was from 2pm-6pm and my bachelorette party was from 8-until. it actually worked out very well like that. If you bridal party will be throwing your parties, just let them know that's what you prefer.
Oh, and send Askalot(septbride) a note back and tell her I said "NO"...LOL

Where was this website about 2 years ago. when I really needed it. I didn't know there was a difference. I could of used this advice when I was MOH in my freinds wedding. SHe wanted strippers but i was against it b/c her MOH was an evangelist and she had several older women her family who want to attend. They didn't come( to include her mother) b/c of the strippers and when the stripper was performing the MOH sat outside the building. I felt bad so i sat out there with her. Considering it was her day they refused to tell her no. I refused to pay for a stripper when only maybe three of your bridal party was of the world. SO needless to she got the stripper and her FH paid for it.......I felt bad b/c all the ladies that came actually left when they found out there were strippers. Now I know Icould have had brunch and the strippers later that night like I wanted to. I just could sold it to her as two parties instead of one and everyone would have been happy.
