Well ladies my fiance has to have surgery this coming Friday on his achilles tendon which is close to his foot. Our wedding is 5 weeks away. It's going to take him 5 weeks to heal but still he is not going to be fully heal. He is going to have to wear a boot for the wedding which is better than a cast because it gives him more room to walk. I don't know if we are going to be able to do our first dance or what. Do anybody have any suggestions for me?

Hello there Red, I'm praying for a successful surgery for your FH and also a speedy recovery. Since your future husband may not be able to get around too well because of the surgery, when you guys have your first dance, perhaps you two could just sway to and fro -- ever so softly to a slow song. (Providing that he can stand). If not have him sit in a chair. Girl just wrap yourselves up into each other!

Hi Red and welcome. Your fiance's situation sure changes things, but it could be far worse. Atleast he will be there. In lieu of your first dance, maybe you can dedicate a song to him. Have him sit in the middle of the dance floor and you can sing (or lip sync) to him. Just a suggestion. I keep thinking for you.
You all can do like they the did on the episode of The Cosby. Clare had hurt her foot so they slow dance at the table.......Or you can lip sync Cater To You By Destiny Child ....He will love that
