Welcome to our family Lopez, may I ask what your wedding colors are? This way I can recommened the best possible flower for your wedding. Congratulations on your coming wedding. My girl Rhony lives in Jersey, I'm not sure what part, but she may also be able to help you with a vendor. Her wedding is in about 2-3 months.

I think ordering months before Valentines day should ensure you a cheaper price. Like if you went in October and get extimates they should stick with the current price and not go up due to the holliday.Just Check around and see. You amy have to leave out your wedding date until the end, tha may help.

Also, since you are on such a small budget consider integrating the real flowers will silks. You can purchase silks very reasonably online, on sites such as ebay (i am a huge advocate for ebay and saving money), and even craft stores in your area such as Michaels may have sales goin on.

I dont know what part of Jersey you live in, I also live in Jersey but the best thing I could advs is to go w/silk! I have helped w/several weddings and unfortunatly in cases of extreme weather, meaning winter or summer, silk always stands up. There is a place in Newark called Muellers. It is on Central ave. They have both real & silk. anyway, they are very reasonable and their silk looks so real. Large assortment. Give it a try. Good luck

Welcome to the boards. Being that you don't need a lot of flowers (none at the reception), why don't you go to ShopRite or something? They're usually cheaper than a florist.

TAJMOM we have the exact same colors....and theme too I think. I will be using "apple" red, white and silver accents.

Lopezr we are also having the same colors.Fortunatly there is a whole lot you can do whith red and white as flowers. Have you thought about making your bouquet with silk flowers? They aree much much cheaper and easy to do yourself. Places like Micheal's and Walmart will help you make it. All you have to do is ask.Welcome to the site....

I LOVE Micheal's Flower arrangements. Those women are GIFTED! That is a great place to start you guys! Think about the ladies or men at your church who do the decorations for special church events too. They get deals on flowers, silk or real, and they will probably do your arrangements just for the cost of the flowers!

Everyone wants their wedding to be unique but in reality, almost everything has been done b4 by someone. I think it's what u do to personalize it that makes it unique 4 you. When using whats been done, you just have to do it a little different.

Welcome, Lopezr! Have you considered wholesale flowers and do like Allies suggested put your deposit down from now and lock them into a low price. Roses are Always expensive. But they do come in a wide price range. Like the American Beauties are very expensive so get ones that may not be long stemmed if you are having a round bouquet and save the money that way.
