fh doesn't ask for a whole lot... but when he does ask, boy oh boy what he asks for. He wants a wedding lounge. He wants to set it up like this with a fire pit & a tiki style bar this is also where the dj will be set up at the reception. Lemme know what you ladies think. He thinks we can build the furniture & tiki bar ourselves w/ some of his friends and family. Once we're done with them he wants to donate them to a charity or something. I believe the furniture making can be done because Future FIL is amazing with a hammer & nail.

I like that style....I'm loving those colors too.....My FH would love it too, I swear when we move just about everything in my house is going to have red in it......
Since you are havng an outdoor wedding/reception I saw go for it. Nobody knows this crazy Cali weather as well as us, your guest will love you for thinking of them with the shade. You cant control the tempature but you can give them shade....As long as you have plenty of cool drinks I say go for it.
That a good idea Future, that will be nice, a little family love being shown with the furniture making. Thank God for talent FIL that will be a great help.

omg, i am so mad I missed it... I have missed bridezillas & platinum weddings for the past 2 weeks! I'm so mad about it.
My dad suggested having a dominos tournament so he won't get bored - haha. He said he always gets bored at weddings and a dominos tournament would make him happy.

Well If you do have a dominoes tournament let me know so I can bring my mom. She always playin dominoes somewhere! She be on Yahoo all day playing. It will give him a challenge.AN if he's anything like the black folks I know you gonna need very solid tables for all the slamming that will be going on...Why do they do that?

girl allie, it is the dominos equivalent to a slam dunk. lol... i laugh everytime it happens. my dad is very competitive when it comes to 'his' sports (dominos, cards, bowling, pool)
