Cinny, you make an amazing bride and everyone looked so happy. You guys don't look stressed out or nervous, you just look happy to be in love and enjoying your moment together. I didn't realize how good our people look in red, the colors really complimented everyone's skin tone. Congratulations!!!!
Thanks, ladies...Well, by the time Friday night came, my only concept was simplicity. If it wasn't done by then, I wasn't going to stress myself about it. I can say it was everything that I thought it was going to be & everything went as planned.

Well, Friday morning I went to get my nails done. That night, we all met at the site to decorate & rehearse. They were suppose to come at 7pm , no showed until 8pm. Then FH & his mom kept arguing because she wanted things done her way & he had to keep reminding her that we wanted it done another way. Stuff was forgotten at the house, so we had to do without (like some of the favors). The chair cover company shorted us like 3 covers, so I said take one chair from three of those tables in the back, and get rid of them. Our video/photographer also called to say an emergency had come up so he wouldn't be able to do our wedding, so he sent replacements (didn't have a good feeling about this because we made resevations back in March. He should've sent the replacements to the other place). I was exhausted, so I was like 'whatever--let's keep it moving'.
Saturday morning came and at 6am we were at the hair dresser's, until around 11am or so. My mom had to stop by the house for some things, so my sister & I went to the mall to get our makeup done. My other sister & mom showed up later (and got theirs done as well...the same folks who didn't want any at all). While getting makeup done, my hubby told me that the cake hadn't came yet (around 1pm by now). I called, she was lost and I gave her better directions than Mapquest did and that was that.
After that, we went to the hotel & got dressed. Photographer & videographer showed up and started snapping. The videographer asked me to say some words to the groom about how I can't wait to see him & how much I love him...then I brokedown into tears. That was the only time I teared up/cried. The wedding started at 4pm (because no one was there at 3:30pm). Then the party officially started! I can honestly say, my husband should be writing his side of the story because I know him & his folks were working hard (to setup chairs, make sure the vendors showed, etc.) The only downside of having his peeps do it, was the decorations for the cake table & bar that I had set up the night before, were moved or taken down. (I don't know who or why the help touched anything)
Funny wedding tidbits:
1) when the Rev, asked if any person objects, speak now...my hubby, turned around and gave the People's Eyebrow (like 'I wish a MF would...') and everyone laughed.
2) when we kissed, the Rev said 'okay, that's enough'
3) the DJ said 'to the new Mr & Mrs Weston...the calmest couple I've ever met. You can really tell this couple loves each other.
4) the DJ also gave us a wedding shot out the following morning on the radio during his gospel mix (and he gave us some tickets to Disney World).
5) the photographer started getting on my nerves because I couldn't continue gathering what I needed, he kept telling me to stop. I was so happy when they went to go photograph the groom & his men.

Girl the pics came out great! I LOOOOVVVVVVVEEEE the red carpet girl....now thats what I'm talking about! The gifts as centerpieces and set up as a cake! I love it I love it I love it. You and Henery look GOOD. I am so very happy for you and my friend! Absolutely amazing and I am just so happy for you guys...Speechless (and you know thats hard for me;)
PS. I love that Henry gave everybody the Peoples Eyebrow (Everyone don't know how The Rock gets down!) I probably would have fell out my chair!

I noticed in a couple of the pictures, he's touching your hair, or your elbow, or just looking at you. That's how you can tell when a couple is in love, the small gestures that no one really notices, but me probably.lol I love to see that type of connection between a couple, the hand on the small of the back, brushing a hair away from her face, things like that....LOVE IS SO BEAUTIFUL and I can tell you two are in love. Your pictures are great, and I'm so glad everything turned out wonderful!
