Lordy lordy! I was late this morning and rushing out the house and forgot my engagment ring. My finger feels NAKED!!!! I usually take it off when I get home 'cause I don't want it to get scratched up and all that. I was driving to work and I went to go and touch it AND IT WASN'T THERE!!! It's so funny how you can get attached to something so quickly, it's like I've been wearing it for years! I almost want to take my lunch and go get it....sheesh!

But I know exactly how you feel. I misplaced my ring once and I went out of my mind trying to find it. I was soooo pitiful. But I found it later that night when I got home.

Rhony, you weren't the only one! Girl, don't scare us like that!!!! Yes, my hand feels funny if I don't have it on either (only when I'm cleaning or something). You'll be alright though, just don't forget it again or you may have a heart attack! lol

No...I feel you, and it IS that serious. Recently I had to have one of the dimonds in my ring replaced and re-appraised (due to the biggest carbon spot EVER) anyway...even though I knew it was with the jewler, the sheer terror that I felt every time I washed my hands and didn't feel it, was unmatched by any other feeling. I feel you girl, I mean...people get attached.
My mother had told me once that if you make it a habit to NEVER take it off you significantly lower your chances of losing it 'for real.' now THAT'S a tragedy.
LOL! I'm just happy you didn't lose it. I take mine off to apply lotion and I react the same way if I even felt like I forgot it.

Well good....I'm glad I'm not crazy lol. I have the habit now of touching it with my finger throughout the day, so when I went to do it and it was not there I freaked. HA! I love this site.....

Soontobebride, my heart is racing right now. I was afraid that something had happened and I would have to go to NC and check up on you.
I know how you feel though. I left the house last week with out and was almost to the highway, pulled an illegal u-turn to go back and get it. I felt so odd without it.

The only time I take my ring off is to get it cleaned and trust me it goes right back on. I am so scared that I will lose my ring if I take it off, not to mention I would have to hear my fh's mouth.
