Hello ladies, if it were not for prayer, I probably would've lost my mind last week. My father had a stroke will driving up I95, which resulted in a bad car accident. Thank God he is still alive. One of my FH's best friend's died of a massive heart attack (he was also one of our grooms men). My daughter had trouble at school, some girls were threatening to fight her (my daughter is not one to fight, she is very shy and timid). I stayed home from work for two days to get my mind in order. I prayed so hard. I'm glad that today is a new day and I am doing my best to stay on top of things. Thanks just needed to get that off my chest.

Man! The devil tries his best with us sometimes. I am gld you had an opportunity to pray on it and take time to gather your self together. I was very shy when I was a child. I never told my mother about bullying. You hav an amazing relationship with your daughter obviously!
Sometimes just voicing your feelings out loud can make a huge differece in how you deal with stress. I am so sorry about your dad and FH's best friend. I am praying for your strength and will put them on my list of people to pray for.

Remember everytime your faith increases which takes you to another level with God....there is another demon waiting to jump on your back. The awesome thing about God is that He is just a pray away and he knows what you can handle. Scripture says: You are more than a conqueror through Him who gives you strength. The devil is a lier and you have proven that thru your faith in God to believe that a new day brings new opportunity...Well Done and my prayers are with you.
P.S....Bless the Lord that your dad is ok and I am sorry about your FH's friend.

I'm so sorry to hear about these tragedies in your family. I'm thankful that your father survived such a life threatening event and your daughter confided in you enough to share with you what is going on with her at school. Our God is and Awesome God and he's forever faithful. May God cover your FH and the family of his friend who died as they mourn his death. Just know that God won't put more on us than we can bear. Continue to be strong for your family right now and stay prayed up. He answers all of our prayers. I'm in prayer for some things to happen real soon and I have already prayed for you and your family. Thanks for sharing and your father will have a powerful testimony because it was only by the grace of God that he made it through. That's a blessing.

I am so grateful for this sisterhood! I believe that my father will recover and pull through this. My daughter and I are very close and I have taught her early on that you can tell mom anything. I have gone to her school and spoke with the guidance counselor and 10th grade dean. She attends parochial school so I am truly shocked by this kind of behavior. The school staff has informed me that the situation has been difussed and my daughter will be safe. Thank you so much for your prayers. You ladies are truly awesome!

Excuse me for sounding dumb - but what exactly does this mean...I know what the word means but I still confused. I've heard private school or public (government) school.

My daughter attends a Catholic school. After speaking with the guidance counselor, I have discovered, that the ring leader of this group has problems at home. I pray for this child because everyone doesn't have a good situation at home.

You ever had days when scripture, prayers, or songs just pop in your head for no appearent reason but later on you see why it was put on your heart. Two verses from songs have been in my head for the past few days, here's on; 'I go to the rock of my salvatation, I go to the stone that the builders rejected, I run to the montain and the mountain stands by me. When the earth all around me is sinking sand, on Christ the soild rock I stand, when I need shelter, when I need strength I go to the rock.'
He olny gives us trails to make us stong. You'll make it through, he's got you in his hand, and angles are encamped around you and your family.

Niquey that is absolutely beautiful...I think I may need a tissue :-). Rhonda that terminology really baffled me, I really have not heard it before...My children also attend Catholic school, but we say over here, it's a "Private School" or it's a "Catholic School" and the Public School system is referred to as "Government School"....interesting thou. Oh! and all our schools in the Bahamas wear uniforms....private or public, I know your schools wear their own clothes except for the private school I think?

Catholic schools wear uniforms, public schools have an option of wearing uniforms or regular clothes. Charter schools are public schools that receive public and private funding and most of them wear uniforms.
