Matching the Theme with the Colors

Hey ladies, I need help. My wedding is 8/26/2006. My fiancee and I enjoy music and were thinking of using this as a theme. We just don't know what direction to go with it. The colors are sage green and champagne. I mention the colors because music always makes me think of colors that are more vibrant than ours.

Hampton_S, I will give it some thought and get back to you. But your colors are truly awesome. I think those colors are great, and when you do choose your music it should be songs that are significant to you and your fiance. But trust me the ladies on this site will come up with some wonderful suggestions for you.

I think that combining the colors you want to your own personal feelings is the answer. It's your day, it'll only feel perfect with all of YOUR wishes.

Hampton_S, why don't you and your honey sit down and write down all the songs that you really love. Then if you have these songs handy, listen to them together and see where your senses take you. You will be amazed at how quickly you come up with music that reflects your sense of style, true feelings for each other and what you desire from that day forward. Follow your heart and there is no way that you can go wrong.

Be Blessed.....

Re: Matching the Theme with the Colors

Okay ladies, my fiance and I have changed directions regarding the theme and I need help. We've decided on an Egyptian theme. Maybe I should say Egyptian elegance. You know you think of gold and other regal colors. Not so Egyptian that there are sphinx heads on the tables or golden cats sitting in corners of the banquet hall. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know. All that I'm really sure about is his caking being a pyramid. He's an Alpha so if you're familiar with the organization you understand why he's really excited about it.

Hey rich girl. I love the fall also. I am getting married in September but wanted October but the church was booked. Anyway, why don't use the colors of the leaves in the fall. Rust orange and yellows with a touch of brown or maroon. Pick one of those colors and accent it with the others. It'll be beautiful.

Hey girl....Fall is a wonderful time for a wedding if not the best time for a wedding...the colors for this time of year is absolutely wonderful and an evening wedding you can accentuate so beautifully. Try burnt orange which is a natural color, you can mix that with golds or greens or even purples...all these are wonderful. Play mix and match and enjoy it.

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
