Venting Too

Hi Ladies, I just need to get this off my chest. I am feeling like I want to scream. Today I came into work and was chewed out by the CEO. Last night I had an argument with FH (we have been getting along so well and arguing is not something we do often). My daughter told my mother that she hates it in New Jersey and she wants to move in with her (not an option). I am feeling sooooo overwhelmed. I don't know what is going on but I feel like I need a major vacation. I don't know if I am being overly emotional as a result of the stress of planning a wedding. Thanks for listening, I feel better already!

Whew! You had A BAAAD DAY! It happens to all of us and you do need a vacation. You can take a mini trip to the mall or the nail salon. Go to a pretty place like apark or museum and if the weather is too bad lock yourself in your car and listen to your favorite cds for 30 minutes. After some YOU time, you should be back on track.

Re: Venting Too

Great advice Rosie. I had a day like like a few months ago. I felt like the whole world was against me. I didn't want to go home because I didn't want to be bothered with son or FH or anybody else fot that matter. I just wanted to be alone somewhere far by myself. Since I had nowhere to go, I ended up sitting in my car parked in my driveway and listening to my WOW 2005 gospel cd. I stayed there for a good 2 hours. When I got out, I felt much better. You just need some you time. The devil is busy and will try to steal your joy at every opportunity he gets.

Re: Venting Too

Just know that it is only temporary because tomorrow is a new day! One thing I tell my clients all the time is when you have a bad day you have the opportunity to start your day over anytime you choose too! Just take a deep breath, say a prayer and tell the devil he is a liar and that the rest of the day will be better. We all need some time alone and maybe that's just what the doctor ordered. YOu have a lot going on(just moved, planning a wedding, everyday life, etc) You are not a lone my sister. Maybe this evening light some candles, play soft music and lock yourself in your bathroom while taking a long, hot bubble bath. Blessings, PB&J

Rosie you are absolutely right, some me time is in order. I have been running like a chicken without a head for a few months now. It never occurred to me that all I need is a little me time. Bossy I was feeling like the whole world was against me too, thanks for letting me know that I am not alone. I came to work today with my gosepel CDs in hand! I'm going to sit at my desk and listen some good music which always makes me feel better. Thank you PB&J, today is a new day and I will treat it as such. You ladies are truly such a blessing. I feel very fortunate, you all have made such a positive deposit into my life -- just know that I appreciate it so very much!!!!!
