wedding day transport

My wedding and ceremony is at the same location. Are there any alternatives to the traditional limo? Since we are having everything at the same location, a limo might be a waste of money. Maybe a convertible or SUV will do fine, to get us from the reception to our hotel.

What about a vintage car? If you want to save money, use your own vehicle or borrow anice, expensive vehicle from a family member or friend. Believe no one will notice this small detail but you.

If you really want a limo, reserve one for either before the ceremony, to take you there, or afterwards. You could even rent a nice car for the weekend.

Re: wedding day transport

My wedding and reception are at the same location as well. I wanted to find a location that had a bridal room that I can get dressed in to avoid spending money. I even went as far as pricing car rentals, thinking that if I rented a car for the weekend it would be cheaper then pay a company for a limo and a chaufuer.

WIFEY IS RIGHT. RENTING IS THE NEXT BEST CHOICE TO HAVING SOMEONE DROP YOU GUYS OFF. I AM ALSO HAVING A ONE SPOT STOP. 1 OF THE REASONS IS SO WE CLD SAVE MONEY AND ELIMINATE THE CARS. CALL ME CHEAP BUT EVERYONE INSIST YOU GET IT FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 HOURS. I DID NOT WANT TO PAY SOMEONE TO SIT AROUND FOR 3-4 HOURS DOING NOTHING. SINCE THE WEDDING AND RECEPTION IS AT A HOTEL, WE ARE STAYING THERE AFTERWARD AND HAVING SOMEONE DRIVE OUR TRUCK HOME. SEE IF THE PLACE YOU ARE STAYING HAS A PICKUP OR SHUTTLE SERVICE. THE HOTEL HAS 1 TO THE AIRPORT. I KNOW PLACES LIKE THE RAMADA HAVE A PICKUP AND DROP OFF SERVICE THAT DOES NT COST A DIME. WE'VE USED IT ON OCCASION. GIVE THAT A TRY.
