What Are Your Bridesmaids Wearing

My bridesmaides are wearing this dress in Navy Blue. My MOHs are wearing it in silver. They will be carrying navy blue and white silk roses in their hands.

This is something that I wondered...can they carry just a purse of does it have to be purse and an arrangement?

My 10 bridesmaids are wearing burnt orange dresses in a variety of styles. They will be carrying flower ball bouquets which are multi-colored(ivory, fuschia, burnt orange, yellow, etc). My coordinator has already made them and they are absolutely beautiful. If I can figure out how to post them I will so that you all can see them.

my 7 BM are wearing halter dresses with a mini train in the back, on the train is a design with those beads that shine off the light. My matron and maid of honor are wearing tube top dresses also with a train that like splits into two (hard to explain) My 2 daughters and my FH daughter are all Jr. Brides, they are wearing a white dress similar to mine with a tiera. the BM are carrying white roses with baby breaths things in it and afew lilly's. My color is peridot (like a pastel green)and biege.

Tonya I was looking at that dress for a potential bridesmaids dress.I love thes tyle...but I would either use red or silver.My MOH wants straps so that was one of the options I was going to give her.

I am so loving that dress...it is one of the best I've seen in a while...well maybe cause I am partial to wrapps - I just love it especially with the little beadings. Are they rhinstones or pearls?

Rhonda, that dress looks like my bridesmaid's dress only differece is that they're dresses are strapless. But I really like that style, it looks really elegant and chic. I don't like the foo foo look! (the big buffy dresses,that end up in a consignment shop and no one ever buys)! :)

VWallace, I love your the dress you have chosen for your bridesmaids, really nice. NTN, gurl you know what they say great minds think alike. I wanted my bridesmaids to be able to use their dresses again if they wanted to. I didn't want my bridemaids talking behind my back saying gurl I will wear this dress because I love her but we look like clowns! (I was in a wedding once and we talked about those dresses, but we wore them because it meant so much to the bride)

You are right, that was the exact reason I selected the type of dresses for my bridesmaids, I wanted them to wear them again, my colors are eggplant and mocha. so my bridesmaid dresses are eggplant (deep plum) they are so pretty! my maid of honor's dress is mocha. And you are right, I didn't want my ladies talking bad behind my back either!! hahahah!!!

Egglplant and mocha, that combination is really nice. Purple is actually my favorite color, but couldn't get FH to agree with that so I compromised and decided for navy blue and platinum. Rosetta has an article posted on How Not to win the Tackiest Bridesmaid Dress Contest. It offered some good advice and it was funny too.

What kind of jewelry are your bridemaids wearing. I found some really inexpensive sterling silver sets at Walmart and I bought the bridemaids the same set and the MOHs have a slightly different set. I bought sterling silver also, because I want them to be a keepsake that they could use again. My daughter was in a wedding last September and the jewelry fell apart soon as we got home. I didn't want that to be my experience.

Well my jewelry of choice is always "pearls"...my friends say that they are too "old" for me - I think pearls are so elegant and timeless so pearls will be my thing - the ladies will have 2 strings and I will have MANY :-)

Also, I'm not sure where everyone is located, but if you have a Dillards near you. I went there and they had 75%off on some of they're jewery, and I also brought some braclets there for no more than $2.50, they were name brand too! Because I have such a large bridal party (13 bridesmaids) I racked up for about $30!

Lord help me - I have to catch a flight to go to a Dillards - I am so jealous but happy for you'll

I purchased my bridal jewelry from EBAY. It is a rhinestone set that looks like the silver embroidery on my gown -- and of course the price was unbeatable!

Gurl I bought so much of my wedding items from EBAY. The best deal was, I got 100 clear CD cases (I'm making a wedding soundtrack) for $18.00! I also bought a lot of things from www.orientaltrading.com. Most of the suggestions came from the ViBride sistahood. Gurl when I started planning I was clueless! Charly EBAY has some items for auction that you have to bid on. They also have "Buy Now" prices, which last for a limited amount of time, but you don't have to bid on those items.

actually, last year I bought 4 dooney & burke purses from ebay and didn't pay but $20 a piece for them! So I'm very fimular with ebay!

Are these items used or brand new products?

they had new and used things! one of the bags were new and the others were used! but you can't tell it's used though! they were in great shape.
